Prepare for an HR Mastermind by bringing one anonymised situation, a decision you face and a question peers can help examine. During the session, test assumptions rather than collect advice. Afterwards, choose one action and reconnect only where there is mutual interest.
Three things to take with you.
- Describe the tension behind your question.
- Protect confidential information and confirm sharing rules.
- Translate a useful conversation into a small workplace experiment.
Before you attend: turn a topic into a case
A broad interest in AI or leadership can get you into the room. A specific question helps you use it. Write down the situation, what you know, what remains uncertain and the decision you need to make.
For an AI-readiness discussion, you might ask what responsible use would require in one workflow. For a productivity discussion, you might bring a case where output increased but review work also grew. These are preparation examples, not findings from SOA sessions.
Two SOA conversations in the calendar
As listed on the SOA event site on 10 October 2026, the following Singapore sessions are scheduled. This is an event-preparation guide, not a recap, speaker transcript or confirmation of attendance. Dates and access arrangements should be checked with the organiser.
| Date and time (Singapore) | Session | Preparation question |
|---|---|---|
| 15 Oct 2026 · 7–9 PM | SOA HR Mastermind × AttituX: Elevating AI Readiness for Businesses | What would make responsible AI use possible in our actual work? |
| 6 Nov 2026 · 3–5 PM | SOA HR Mastermind × Veridia: Underperformance in the AI Era | Where is the gap between tool adoption and useful outcomes? |

Take notes that preserve context
Distinguish a speaker’s observation, someone’s interpretation and your own intended action. A practice that works in one setting may depend on scale, resources or responsibilities that differ from yours.
Do not record, attribute or publish another person’s comments without the necessary permission. Ask the host which rules apply. When permitted to note general ideas, remove identifying information rather than assuming a job title is anonymous enough.
- The question: what issue are we actually discussing?
- The context: what conditions matter to this example?
- The alternative: what view challenged my first assumption?
- The test: what might I try or investigate next?
Afterwards: choose one useful next move
Write a short reflection before the details fade. What changed in your thinking? What remains unresolved? Choose one action within your control and decide when you will review it.
If you want to continue a conversation with another attendee, refer to the topic and ask whether they would like to connect. Do not treat event attendance as consent to a mailing list, sales sequence or public endorsement.
Keep the room’s value in perspective
A peer discussion can surface better questions, useful experience and possible approaches. It does not validate a policy, certify an AI system or replace an organisation’s own decision process.
Share what you can responsibly share with your team, explain the context and test the idea on its merits. That is how a conversation becomes useful beyond the event without overstating what the room established.
A little more clarity.
Does reading this guide register me for an event?
No. Use the official event calendar and registration links. Attendance is subject to the organiser’s confirmation and the event’s access format.
Can I publish a recap of a closed-door session?
Only within the organiser’s sharing rules and the relevant permissions. Do not attribute quotes or identifiable cases without approval.
Sources & editorial notes
